    can't install a program


    Hi guys. I recently formated my copmuter. reinstalled windows and office, etc.

    i downloaded the drivers for the computer at the office from ehre:

    download goes well. And it extracts files to a folder called "install". And i launch the "start.exe" file but nothing happens. Windows told me it's not a recognised installer, do i prefer to go to the ap store? i say no continue anyway... then nothing happens. I try to right click and "launch as administrator" but nothing happens.


    in the meantime, i downloaded another program (winrar and logitech) and that went well. go back to my "start.exe" and nothing happens at all. Any idea what it could be? Thank you.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
