Windows 10: Can't install a simple programme

I've tried repeatedly to install a simple script writing programme on a new Win10 PC.Within seconds of starting to install it tells me "to continue installing, you must exit the programme name.But it isn't installed, so how can I possibly exit it?Why am I getting this interruption to the install and how can I correct it?Thanks for your help on this !

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
• When you say programmes, which programs are you exactly referring to?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to run the
System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on System Maintenance.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
