Windows 10: cant install any apps on microsoft store or update it error Code: 0x800700B7

hello i have done everything to try and fix this but nothing works, i cant update the store its stuck at 95% and it just dosent let me update it, no apps will update, ive reinstalled the store multiple times ive reset the store multiple times but nothing has fixed it

Hi, I'm getting this error Code: 0x800700B7 when updating or installing new apps from the Store. Can anyone share a fix for this?

 

Error 0x800700B7 when trying to install Microsoft Store apps (gaming services)

I'm trying to install MS store apps, in particular, gaming services.. it hangs and says error 0x800700B7 after just a few seconds.

I've tried various MS store reset techniques on here, but so far nothing has worked.

I'm running win 10 1909, having just done the upgrade/repair option to upgrade/check things as well.

Any suggestions?

Puzzling. Tends to suggest permissions errors or other corruption.

As a matter of routine, please run these basic checks.
a. Check your disk e.g.
HD Tune (free) Health and Error scan tabs (e.g. from Softpedia).
b. If ok, run
chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt
c. if ok, run
SFC /SCANNOW
similarly

Report the summary results.

What is the status of these services?
