    Can’t install KB5057589 and download KB5058379


    Split from this thread. I have tried. When I input Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old, it shows "The syntax of the Command is incorrect". When I input Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old, it shows "A duplicated file name exist, or the file cannot be found". It does not work.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
