Windows 10: Can't install latest June or July cumulative security updates on Windows 10 21H1 x64 Home...

Tried many online suggestions but keep getting errors 0x800f081f and 0x80070005/d at times. In particular, ran Troubleshooter, SFC, DISM and the stand-alone installer via the Microsoft Update Catalog. Most times it stalls at 20%. Other times it installs 100% then gives the "error encountered" message. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, I'm at my wits end.Thanks,JB

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

 

Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.
