Windows 10: Can't install Microsoft 365 on Windows 7 64bit

    Can't install Microsoft 365 on Windows 7 64bit


    I formatted my laptop and reinstalled Win 7 64bit with SP1. Gave it all the time it needed to download and install the updated. Then tried to install Microsoft 365. Got the following message: The procedure entry point SetProcessMitigationPolicy could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit crashing on installation

    So i have Windows 7 Professional 32bit installed and I wanted windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. It boots from the disk just fine, its just after you press the first button (i thing its callled install now or something) after a few seconds, it bluescreens and i have to restart. System specs are listed and i know my processoror is 64bit, any ideas?

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit crashing on installation

    First, Open your BIOS

    second, set all setting to default (except boot priority)

    third, turn off your HDD "S.M.A.R.T." capability

    fourth, make sure Windows 7 DVD doesn't have any scratch on it.

    fifth, try to Install your Windows 7 64bit againt.

    if that's not working, post here, or best way to solve this problem, just take picture of your BSOD (with camera) and post here so we can analyze BSOD Code. *Smile Can't install Microsoft 365 on Windows 7 64bit :)

    Old tech is sometimes better. You wouldn't want windows to fart while you are flashing your bios.
    They might, but it ain't on the download page under utilites.

    EDIT: ASUS Update V7.17.06 Install Program for Windows 32/64bit XP & 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit 7... it is in the windows 7 64 bit section under utilities, should do the trick per the manual.
