Windows 10: Can't install Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime UE Prerequisites x64

I have installed a new game from Steam Ships at Sea. When I try to launch it, an error window pops up saying that I need to install "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime. I click yes and it pops up - "UE Prerequisites x64". I click Install. After it tries to install Progress bar, I see Setup Failed, "Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."Below is the log file. Can someone please help me. Error 0x80070652 means that another installation is currently running in the background. Please right-click Start->Settings->Update and security->Windows updates, and see whether there are pending updates. If there is, you need to install the updates first.

If the issue persists after you have installed all available updates, try installing the dependencies (.NET 2.0, .NET 4.0, Visual C++ Redistributable) manually.

To install the 2 .NET packages, press Windows+R and enter "optionalfeatures". Select ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" and ".NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services" (You do not need to select the sub-items under them). Let it download through Windows Update, and wait it to install. Once installed, reboot the computer.

To install Visual C++ Runtime, please go to this support page, then download and install both the "x86" and "x64" installers for each version (2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015-22).

After installing the dependencies, try running the game again. If the issue persists, you need to contact the developer of the game, since there may be a bug in the installer.

How to update to Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 X64 Runtime – v9.0.30729.4967 ?

Hi,

I have installed Siemens NX 12 designing software on my laptop. It needs Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 X64 Runtime – v9.0.30729.4967 to run but my laptop has Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable – x64 9.0.2.21022.

So I need to install Visual C++ 2008 X64 Runtime – v9.0.30729.4967. What should I do?
