Windows 10: Can't install / open minecraft, CLiP license id does not match

Recent purchased a new laptop and thought I'd give Minecraft a spin.Installed through the Windows store, but whenever I go to open I get this error:CLiP license device ID does not match the devce ID in the bound device license.I have signed out and done the WSReset seen in previous posts. No luck.I have done the sfc /scannow command thing. No luck.I've signed out and back in, restarted the laptop completely a few times. Nothing.I have no idea what the problem could be. Please help :

I recently built a whole new PC and wanted to install Minecraft from the Microsoft store. I get the error "clip license device id does not match the device id in the bound device license after hardware changing" every single time I try to launch it. I'm signed into the correct account on my computer, in my Microsoft Store, and in my Xbox app. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game, logged out and in from everything and rebooted my pc, still getting the error. I've seen the solutions mentioned here (Redirecting) and here (Redirecting) but those have not worked for me. Why am I locked out of games that I've purchased?

I just got a new HP Omen Victus Laptop that is running windows 11 and whenever I try to install and launch anything related to the official Minecraft file it says "clip license device id does not match the device id in the bound device license" I updated my computer, did a file scan, logged in and out of the windows store, reset the store, and repaired and reset the files but nothing worked. I have launched other apps and games perfectly fine without issues. It is just the Minecraft launcher, Minecraft Java Edition and bedrock will not launch.

This is a brand new gaming laptop, I signed in to the xbox app, downloaded games and they wont launch I keep getting the same error.

I've scoured the internet in search for a solution.

-Ive signed out and signed back into both the store and xbox app

-Ive restarted the laptop

-Ive reset all the store and xbox app (also cortana, didnt work)

-Ive ran the system file checker tool via the CMD prompt

-> I should note when editing permissions and going into the advanced security settings I got a message saying something is corrupt.

Ive been able to run other apps in the store without issue. the issue is with games not opening in the xbox games app. for right now that is forza horizon and minecraft. same error for both.

please help.
