    Can't install or update any app from the Microsoft Store.


    Every time I try to install or update an app, I get an error.

    I don't normally use this store, but there are several apps that I legitimately want to install, and can't install because of this issue.


    Every time I try, I get the same error code: 0x80070005


    I've already tried all of the solutions in this video, except for the System Restore (which I want to avoid doing):

    I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

    Since running the troubleshooter for Windows app didn't work, we suggest resetting Windows Store by following the steps below to resolve your issue:

    • Type Apps & features on search box/Cortana and click on it.
    • Look for Microsoft Store app and click on Advance options.
    • Click Reset button and retest.
