Windows 10: Can't Install Quicken Win 10: Missin .NET Framework INI File Missing?!!?

Edition Windows 10 EducationVersion 22H2Installed on ‎1/‎25/‎2023OS build 19045.2604Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0Quicken sent me here-they don't have an answer. Can't install Quicken. Installer quits with this message:.NET Framework 4.6.1 CheckHealthOfDotNetFramework:'INI' File not found.Image would not upload for some reasonI have .NET Framework 4.8 & 3.5 installed.SFC shows no errors; the .NET Framework troubleshooter shows no errors.Ideas?

Follow the below methods and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key+ R for Run and then type Control.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off.
• Uncheck .Net Framework 3.5 and .Net Framework advanced services.
• Restart the system and check if it helps.

Download the latest .Net Frame work from the below link and then try downloading the quicken application.

Quicken does not recognize net framework 4.6.1

Quicken does not recognize net framework 4.6.1 and Microsoft update changed something. when I reload net framework it states file is already there. How do I fix. Quicken support said to contact Microsoft.

 

Microsoft .Net Framework 7.2 will not install.

The last update that installed was in March ( that was the .Net Framework 7.1) I have tried dozens of times to install 7.2 and I have have used the troubleshooter to "fix .net Framework" problems. It says it is unable to fix it.

I can't open several of my programs that are not Microsoft ( like Quicken or Family Tree Maker)

And when I open some programs, I can access, I get a .Net Framework information box that appears saying that there is a file missing and

it will try to work without it.

Can anyone suggest a fix that won't damage my computer?
