Windows 10: Cant install State of Decay 2 from windows store but can install anything else

I've owned State of Decay 2 on the windows store for years now. Unfortunately, the windows store has been nothing but issues. I also wasn't able to install Sea of Thieves when the new update dropped. After hours of messing around with the settings, I finally got SoT downloaded, but SoD2 won't budge.

State of Decay 2 installation Problem

Since the update (from windows) i made yesterday, when i got in game there were missing textures. I thought i should reboot the game and when i went to Microsoft Store, it said the game had a problem and needed repair. So I clicked the option proposed and
it reloaded the full game over a few hours.

Towards the end of the downloading, it said installing, and then I had an alert stating

Stated of Decay 2

Couldn't install. We'll try again later.

Now the store only shows the game, with the button update, as if there was a pending update. When I press it, it just displays the same alert and fails to install.

I tried every step proposed
here, except the ones using the App & Features window from the settings, as I can't do anything there since the game is not actually "installed".

BTW I also tried the option someone mentioned using this link.

The option of the trouble shooter only states cache and licenses might be corrupt, to which it proposes to reset Microsoft store. And when I start it again it just states the same thing.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue.

1. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to this issue?
   
2. Is the issue specific to State of Decay 2?
   
3. Which security software is installed on the PC?
   
4. Does the issue occur in a different user account?
   
5. What is the free space available on the PC?
   

However, let us try these methods one by one to check if that helps.

Method A: The antivirus program or security software might be interfering with the Store, try disabling it 'temporarily' to see if that helps.

Note: Enable security software after the troubleshooting so that the PC is safe and secure.

You may also want to download this game directly from the browser to check if that helps.

Can't install State Of Decay 2 From Microsoft Store

I have just purchased State Of Decay 2 and when I go to install it from the Microsoft Store app on windows 10 nothing happens I press the install button and nothing is there any-way to fix this or can I get my money back?
