    Can't install UEFI Windows 10 On My Old Hard Drive


    I used to have an ssd and a hdd. Windows was on ssd but now I dont have my ssd so I'm trying to setup Windows on my hddwhich I used to use it just to store games and I just cant. My pc supports UEFIMy HDD is set to GPTI have a Win 10 UEFI Flash Drive readyBut when I try to install windows, after the first steps are completed and pc reboots for the first time, it just boots up flash drive and not the hdd. I tried unplugging the flash when pc is rebooting but then Select boot device screen comes up. In bios boot selection menu my hdd doesnt show up as UEFI and I belive that is the main problem

    How to install Windows 7 on a 4TB hard drive? UEFI?

    Solution 1: Buy a new motherboard that is UEFI compatible. I assume once I buy the UEFI compatible motherboard, Windows 7 install will automatically let the software install on the 4TB hard drive?

    Solution 2: Buy a Solid State Drive and run Windows 7 on that without buying a new motherboard and decided to use the 4 TB drive as storage.

    Replacing old hard drive, need way to copy Windows installation across

    Hey Guys,
    What would be the best way of copying/imaging the entire contents of an old system drive over to a replacement hard disk for the same machine? I need to copy the Windows installations and all other data to the new drive, and then format the old drive to use as a backup.

    How to install Windows 7 on a 4TB hard drive? UEFI?

    I want to install windows 7 on my 4TB hard drive. Here's what I run into. I run the Windows 7 install, click the 4TB disk and it tells me I can't install it on the GPT partition. Is this because my motherboard isn't UEFI compatible or can I do it without this?

    - Motherboard A960D+ AM3+ biostar (I don't think it's UEFI compatible and I think that's what i need to make this work?)
    - I formatted it and I can put data on the 4TB hard drive at the moment, but I can't install Windows 7 on it.

    All the 4TB is recognizable, but I can't install Windows 7 on it.

    Please HELP!!!
