Windows 10: Cant join domain

Hello,Someone in my company bought a Surface go 3 but bought it with windows 11 home edition so we cant join it to our domain.I removed it from s mode and tried to enter our pro key multiple activation but it wouldn't accept it. I tried entering the generic key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T to upgrade to pro with the idea of then activating with our key but it wouldn't accept the generic key either.I wiped the C drive and re-installed Windows 10 from a usb i made with the media creation tool.During install it did not give me the option to choose which version of windows i wanted to instal

Re-join the domain after upgrade

There is no need to leave the domain, you can perform the upgrade (with Admin privileges).

You can also leave the domain, upgrade with a local account, then join the domain again.

I just finished clean installing Windows 10 Enterprise build 17093 in a VM using a local account, and it still has the same steps in the tutorial for me.

Is your PC already joined to a domain?

 

Cannot get the Join Domain option

I am an administrator and I did expose the hidden Administrator. When I go to Settings | About, I do not get the Join Domain option.

Am I missing a step?
