Windows 10: Can't join friends minecraft world that playing on Xbox one while im playing on Windows 10

So I have probably been trying to join my friends world for about 2 hours now and everything ive tried has not worked. I am playing on PC on the Windows 10 version of minecraft and my friend is playing on xbox. I know that I can join their world and ive done it before but I am not sure why I cannot now. I was able to join about an hour ago but then I tried leaving and rejoining and was unsuccessful in rejoining once I left. The things I have tried is turning on my Universal plug and play and my DMZ in my router settings and that did not work. I tried updating all my drivers, windows, and my network drivers. I have tried unfriending and re-friending my friend many times through the xbox app on my phone and PC I have also checked my windows firewall. I have tried going into on of my worlds and then leaving it and going into my friends world many times. I have also tried doing some things with windows power shell. I tried joining with a VPN. I hav tried pasting some commands in the CMD and finally I have tried restarting and shutting down my PC many times and out of all these solutions none of them have worked for me so this and reddit are going to have to be my last resorts. Please let me know if there s anything I can do because this has been a real pain to deal with and all I want to do is play Minecraft. Any help is much appreciated.


EDIT: I have also updated minecraft windows 10 to the latest version and windows 10 itself.

Can't connect to my Xbox friend's Minecraft world

I bought Minecraft Windows 10 edition to play with some of my Xbox friends on their world(My friend on Xbox runs the world). The first night I went to play with them, it worked perfectly fine. The next morning, I tried playing, but it kept saying "Unable
to connect to the world." This happened again today. I can join on my phone, but when I join on my PC, it won't work. Please help me or give me a way to refund the game. Thanks!

 

My friends can't join my world (Minecraft Windows 10 Edition)

Hi,

I'm having an issue with Xbox live for over 2 years. So basically, My friend can't join my world somehow but I can join theirs. It says "Unable to Connect" for them. We both are Windows 10 and the same version of Minecraft. But, My friends can join my world
if I am playing it on MCPE (Minecraft Pocket Edition) [Mobile] Can someone please help?
