Windows 10: cant launch fortnite,I have contacted epic games,they couldnt solve it

Unable to launch WWZ on Epic games pc

I used to play WWZ on epic games PC. Recently tried to get back to it, but the game has been refusing to launch. It says: the code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found . I’ve already done several windows troubleshooting steps (reinstalled visual c++ redistributables, updated drivers, rebooted/update windows) and contacted epicgames. They directed me to microsoft support, but ms is not transparent about where i can get support form. Can anyone help to solve the issue?

Ps. This is a new issue I’m facing with regard to launching this game.

Fortnite BSOD on launch

Every time I start fortnite i get a BSOD with stop code: Unexepected_Kernel_mode_trap...have tried some fixes suggested on youtube and also uninstalling and reinstalling epic games but haven't been able to get around this. Everything else works normally on the device
