Windows 10: Can't leave family group or make purchases

Hey. I am unable to leave my microsoft family group. The family group administrator was registered under my old email that no longer exists. My new account was in this group by default, and I can't make any purchases on this device because of a pop up saying "ask for permission", but the verification is being sent to an email that no longer exists, therefor I can't leave the family group or make purchases on this device and I need to know if there is a way to be able to fix this or reset this and leave the group without hard resetting?

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts. However, family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Last member (Adult) unable to leave Family group

Why not set up an admin account with documented password, add it to the family group? Then you can take your account out, and still have (or leave) an admin/family group access account available. Just a thought/suggestion...
