Windows 10: Can't lock my stolen device remotely

Laptop stolen 2 nights ago and this morning I saw an address pop up. I'll be heading to the location in a while and police are on standby.Why can't I lock it remotely?Password changed by me this morning.

My laptop was stolen and I am unable to lock the device remotely. If I try the "Find my Device" it shows the battery is 0% and I get the following message : We can’t locate this device since it hasn’t been used in the past 30 days.. Then when I try the "Lock" function I get the following message: "We can’t lock your device right now". Please can you assist with problem.

Remote Lock Feature "Frozen" - Lists Phone as Locked Even Though It Isn't

On the "Find My Phone" page, my phone is listed as locked while it definitely is not. It has remained this way for months, leaving me with no way to remotely lock my phone in the event it is lost or stolen. Can this be fixed?



I have:

• Restarted my phone
• Logged in and out of Live
• Tried multiple computers
