Windows 10: Cant log ex out of my tablet

An ex was the last person to use my tablet with credential and never loggedoff. So now I can't log in with my un/pw on the device, even the original local profile (non-.com incorporated profile). Unlike with a regular profile where you can log in with another profile, the tablet will only prompt me for their profile, which I can't/don't want to do. Any thoughts?

To better assist you with your issue with logging in to Windows, we'd like to ask if you are using a Microsoft account or a local account.

You can reset your password using a different device by going to this
link.

If it is a local account and recovery disk is not available, you have to contact your original equipment manufacturer for assistance.

I Cant log on into my tablet

I accidently remove my picture password on my windows tablet, not realizing that I still had my pin on it and password that I had both forgotten and

now I can't gain access to my tablet. And I don't have a recovery disk.

A thought: what I do if it were a Notebook or Desktop is would boot to a CD containing a program I purchased that lets me remove the password/s, doesn't show it. It might work on a tablet to plug in a portable CD/DVD drive if having a standard USB port or an OTG/OnTheGo micro USB to standard USB adapter.
