Windows 10: Can’t log in to an old machine with correct password

My microsoft login works fine except on an older PC I haven’t used in a while. The machine is connected to my home wi-fi. Getting this message.

• Have you tried typing the password with On-Screen keyboard?

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: On-Screen Keyboard

You may use the accessibility options to pop open a on-screen keyboard and type the password from there to make sure you are typing the correct password.

Step 2:

If you see your email address listed there, it must be a Microsoft account. You will be able to reset the password and log in if your PC is connected to internet.

Password access to a secondary machine

Lock screen won't let me log on and I have used current and old passwords to log in, none have worked. The machine I'm referring to is one that I do not access very often but it is still listed on my account devices. Is there any way short of creating
yet another password for my account? Or, will that even work?

 

Can't log in with my correct password

I cant log into my Microsoft account because it said I got my password wrong. I also checked the email I'm signing in and its already correct. I tried resetting password but then it said that I can reset my password my old password. If it was my old password
then why I couldn't log in to my account? i want my account back with its original password
