Windows 10: Can't log in to my PC after using Media Creation Tool

Dear Microsoft,

For many years you've created wonderful operating systems. And then you've lunched windows 10 and ruined it all.

My fraustration is because of many problems i've been having with Win 10 for months but today i'm writing you because it has come to it's limit.

I'm not going to explain the whole chain of events of what happend and my misrable efforts to fix your multiple operating system's problems but i'll summerize it as much as I can and hopfully I could get the asisstant I need.

Yesterday I bought the game Sea Of Thieves online through this account, but unfortunately I could not install it through the Microsoft Store, because for some reason I couldn't log in to my account through the app (The window just popped up and disappeared).

After multiple efforts of solving this problem (and then ran into another one, and another and another) I ended up trying to upgrade my windows to the april updatee using Media Creation Tool (becuase it didn't work any other way) and this app's only option was to format my PC so I decided to do it.

The installation worked, but the problem is, that now when I try to start my computer by logging into my account, I keep getting "password incorrect" message each time.

Please don't tell me to "check my Caps Lock button", or "try reset your account's password" because i've reset it 4 times already and it doesn't work.

(And I know the password is correct because i've logged in through the website multiple times with the same password i've typed).

As you can see, my efforts for trying to play a great game ended up in formatting my PC and still can't log in.

Hopefully someone can show a light on this problem and end my suffering.

We would like to know more about this concern. Kindly answer the following:

• Any changes made on the computer prior to this concern?
• Is this the first time that you encountered this problem?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• May we know the reason why you want to download Media Creation Tool?

Thanks Cerberus but Ive no problem downloading the Iso with the media creation tool. I don't think its the ISO that is the problem' I think the problem is when the Media Creation Tool is creating the bootable USB flash drive. So I think I can use the Media Creation Tool for that part...and as you say try something like Rufus to create the bootable USB flash drive

I still have this question though "The tutorial here says after going to the Microsoft site and selecting the Download Tool (Media Creation Tool) option that the Media Creation Tool should be save to the PC and run from there.
On Microsoft site the instructions are to Download the Tool and select Run (no saving to the PC). Is there a reason for saving it to the PC first as suggested on Tenforums?"

I was curious to see if others had encountered the issue I had with the Media Creation Tool. Ive never had a problem using it before

Just mount iso as a drive and run setup.exe - most reliable method.
