Windows 10: Can’t log in to windows

I just installed windows and everything was working great until I turned my computer off and went to do something. I came back 20 minutes later and I when I got to the windows lock screen and clicked, it wouldn’t let me type in my pin, nor does the bar where you would even type it into pop up. It doesn’t let me open task manager, I can’t click the bottom right power to restart, or anything else. I’m not sure what to do from here.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
