Windows 10: Can't log in with a student microsoft account on a new refurbished computer- it's saying...

We're trying to set up my daughter on a new computer and she uses a student log in she received through her school. She keeps getting an error message saying account doesn't exist when trying to sign into a few different Microsoft log in options, despite using this fine on another computer.Can someone please help fix this error? Or advise how I get on to Microsoft?

register PC with microsoft; use local account to log in

Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Just go back to using a local account:
Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.

 

Account settings out of date for student email??

I logged into my student email on the mail app but it says account settings are out of date. Every time I fix it, the notification pops up again. I checked the article on how to fix it but nothing worked. Suggestions??

 

Microsoft refurbished computers with no Microsoft refurbished key?

I bought a computer from a shop that claimed it is a microsoft authorized refurbisher.

I can't find any Certificate of Authenticity label in my computer and the staff claimed there are no longer having such kind label in the computer that he sold. Is that normal that there are no Certificate of Authenticity label in a microsoft refurbished
machine?

Can I check whether or not the machine is microsoft refurbished machine without a Certificate of Authenticity label?
