Windows 10: Can't log into account; keeps asking me to enter my password even though I entered it...

Essentially the situation is that I am trying to sign into my BROTHER's PC who is the current Admin user into the microsoft store so I can access gamepass and play it through my account and not my brothers. However whenever I sign in, it prompts me to enter in the password again and again. There are no error codes and I have tried the "Send code to email" method to log in and it prompts the same result as before. I have tried the solutions of another post which was to reset the microsoft store and that did not work. I was able to log in through my brother's other PC and play on my own gamepa

Windows 10 Asks me to Enter a Password

I am using Windows 10 Pro x64 on my personal laptop on which I have a single user account with no password. For some reason however, Windows 10 has started asking me to enter a password whenever I boot up my machine. All I have to do is press the button without entering anything, and I log in, but I would much rather skip this step in favor of an automatic sign-in. Why has this started happening only now? What can I do to stop this behavior?

To stop auto log in to your Windows 10 computer, you can follow the step-by-step guide as below. Please note that you must have all the information about the user account which you want to configure.

2. Tap on Windows key, type cmd.exe to load the Windows command prompt.

3. Type control userpassword2 and hit the enter key (Or you can type netplwiz which takes you to the same system tool).

4. The "User Accounts" window will appear:

Now select the user account from the list and enable "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option and click on Apply button.

6. You are prompted to enter the account password your Windows 10 will use to sign in.

7. That's it. Now you can login Windows 10 by entering password.

Is it possible not to enter the password/PIN at Window startups?

You may have missed a step. After the un-check, click apply, then the next screen will ask for the Pasword twice. Enter and OK. Then OK again. That should do it.
