Windows 10: Can't log into Microsoft Account from my desk top PC

Can't log into Microsoft Account from my desk top PC but I can from my wife's laptop. I can't get past the page where it asks to set up PIN

  Do you have any other user account to log in to the computer?
  

I suggest you to enable the built in administrator account and try to create a new user account and transfer all the user profile data of the old account.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press and hold on the Shift Key from the Windows sign in screen and click on Restart.
  
• 
  Follow the path Troubleshoot> Advanced Options > Start Up settings.
  
• 
  Click on Restart.
  
• 
  Choose Enable Safe Mode with
  Command Prompt.
  
• 
  At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active:yes, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Type net user administrator <Password>, and then press Enter.
  

Note: In this command,
<Password> represents the actual password that you want to set for the administrator account.

• 
  Type exit, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Log off the current user account.
  

Note: type net user administrator /active:yes, to disable the
Built-in Administrator after adding the Microsoft account.

Desk top Icons replaced by start menu

At this point, I suggest you to check if the same issue occurs when logged in through a different Local Administrator user account.



Follow the steps:

• Assuming that you are already logged on to your user account in Windows 10, click the Start button.
• From the Start menu, click your name from the top of the left pane.
• From the displayed options click Sign out.
  
• From the login screen, click to the different user account you want to switch to.

However, if you do not have a separate user account, I suggest you to create another administrator user account by referring to the Microsoft article here: Set
up accounts.
