Windows 10: Can't log into Microsoft Store

Every time I open up the Microsoft Store app, I try to press sign in. Instead of a separate page opening up, or it transferring me to any login page, the menu to sign in just disappears. It doesn't do anything it just stays on the same page that I press it on without any visual changes. I press sign in and nothing happens. I removed the app, and reinstalled it. I restarted it and reset the app, I cleared the cache, and everything else I was able to find on the internet. I can't log into Xbox or the Microsoft Store to download any games I paid for. I don't get any error message, the page just s

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

and check.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
