Windows 10: Can't log into my Microsoft Account on the MS store

Hello. Recently, I can't log into my Microsoft account on the Store. The errorcode is 0x800704cf. It says that I don't have an Internet connection altough I clearly have. I tried almost everything I found on the internet but nothing seems to work. However, I noticed that I can log in with my other accounts, and that I can log in with this account on other PCs. So it just doesn't work on this PC with this account. I even asked Support but unfortunately, none of their recommendations work. I would appreciate it if you could help me.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Creating a MS account without losing Local account

Go to https://account.microsoft.com, click Create account and fill the form:





With a Microsoft account you can then use OneDrive and Office Online apps for free. You can also use built-in native Windows apps which require a Microsoft account like Mail, Skype Preview, People, Calendar and download apps from Windows Store.

This issue might occur if there is change computer is not connected to the network or there is change in app settings.



To assist you better, please provided us the information below:

• When you say that "while log in to Microsoft account in store or mail ", are you connected to the internet while trying to configure Microsoft account in Store and Mail? Are you referring to Windows 10 Mail app?
• Are you logged into the Microsoft Account or Local Account?
