Windows 10: Can’t log into Windows on my bootcamp partition all of a sudden

Discus and support Can’t log into Windows on my bootcamp partition all of a sudden in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I’m no longer able to log into Windows on my Mac.     Can’t log into Windows on my bootcamp partition all of a sudden


    I’m no longer able to log into Windows on my Mac. It has always worked just fine in the past. I tried changing my Live password twice. Login works fine on all other devices. It’s just not working on my Bootcamp Windows partition. It gives me “That password is incorrect. Make sure you're using the password for your Microsoft account. You can always reset it ataccount.live.com/password/reset.” The password is definitely correct. I even tried entering it with the onscreen keyboard.

    Bootcamp Partition Size

    Hi folks, I'm trying to install Windows via Bootcamp on my Mac Mini, but run into a problem where I can't seem to divide the space equally between two partitions. 77GB is as much as I can partition for Bootcamp, which is odd since I have so much free space. I've attached a screenshot to show the issue. I've tried Googling but can't seem to find a solution. Any help is appreciated!

    Ok, I have got as far as choosing which partition to install to in windows setup, it is saying it can't install to the bootcamp partition because it ain't ntfs d
    o I format that partition to ntfs at that point? Cheers

    W7 Hard drive partition issue

    to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

    - press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
    - diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
    - list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
    - select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
    - clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
    - create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
    - exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
    - click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that
