Can't login after turning apartment power off

    My system specs are:

    Operating system: Windows 10, 64bit

CPU: Intel core i5-6400 Skylake processor

    Motherboard: MSI B150M BAZOOKA, Socket-1151

GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Storage: Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB 2.5" SSD OEM (This is where my windows is installed)

HDD: WD Desktop Blue 1TB 3.5"

As of yesterday, I had to turn off my main power to put up a lamp.

Before doing so, I put my desktop into sleep mode, and turned off the power outlet.

After putting my lamp up, I turned on my PC and absolutely nothing happened, except for loading. I tried restarting, and then it informed that it was "Scanning and reparing drive (CCan't login after turning apartment power off :)"(Which is where my windows is installed)

After 6 worrying hours, I was finally on the login screen, but when pressing space/clicking with my mouse, nothing really happens, and then after 30 seconds it goes back to the original screen before you do any input.(I can shut down and restart, when clicking or pressing space)

This morning I did manage to login(Not with my pin anymore, with my microsoft password). But I could not do anything, and I was forced to turn it off with the power button.

Shift-restart does NOT work, the only thing that happens when I do that, is that it boots faster(?).

What is the problem here? What am I supposed to do now? I managed to get into the BIOS and I noticed that my SSD was no longer #1 on the boot list, but #6, so I changed that, but nothing has happened since.

    Thank you.

    Regards

    :)

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

    probldems with power

    Hi,

Your concern about your laptop turning off completely when placed on sleep mode may indicate a possible improper power plan configuration. As an initial step to rule out any power settings issues, we suggest that you reset the settings to default. To do
    this, follow the steps below:

    • Type cmd in the search box.
    • Right clickCommand Prompt from the list, and select
      Run as administrator.
    • Type or copy and paste the command below:

      powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
    • Wait for the command to finish and restart the device if prompted.

Once you're done, check if the issue persists.
