Hello everyone, Concerned about security on my Active Directory domain, my plan is to ensure that I never leave credentials in cache lsass process on the machines on which I connect in RDP. The goal is to prevent tools like mimikatz ... from being able to retrieve my credentials in clear text, hash ,TGT or TGS. To do this, I added a privileged account not domain admin to the "Protected Users" group.I manage to connect well in RDP, but however, when I use ConfigMgr to connect to SCCM I can no longer connect to this service, the same for WSUS there must be many others but I haven't tested t

HELP with WSUS and SCCM Updates

Hello,

I am hoping I can get some help here or a direction as to where to look/ check, I have Sccm installed at my site, no DP's just single site. I have devices showing up which have the client installed. The issue im stuck on is WSUS is not talking with SCCM.
I went into the WSUS console and sync'd. Do i need to set something within WSUS to talk to SCCM?

In SCCM I changed the options to look at the WSUS server ( Both wsus and sccm are on the same server 2012 R2) What am I missing here? And if anyone knows any good documents that can help me with getting this fixed as well as building packages for OS10

Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

I am trying to create new user logins on my laptop for my kids - I have successfully created user accounts that show up at startup, but I get the following error when I enter the passwords and try to login:

User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

I have tried multiple solutions from this forum, including regedit - their accounts do not show up on the ProfileList, and changing the permissions in C:\Users\Default to "Replace all child object permission entries from this object".

Also, deleted and re-added the accounts. Any other suggestions?!?!?!?!?!*Sleepy*Sick*Sleepy*Sick*Sleepy
