  1. Can't Login To administrator account on Laptop

Hello I've been having some issues with logging in for weeks because I don't know the password To My laptop,It's a Republic of gamers gl753ve laptop,I've tried going into safe mode by pressing shift and restart and tried doing a command prompt "rstrui.exe" but that doesn't do anything since it asks for the password but I don't know it, I also went to "Reset this Pc In safe mode and chose remove everything -> All drives -Fully clean the drive but then says "Additional free space is needed on the drive where windows is installed. Free up some space and try again" So still can't do anything...I Reset the laptop and tried using the f9 option but that doesn't do anything ,Anyway I can fully factory reset the pc Without the administrator account password ? it's the only account on the laptop no guest option.

    :)

  2. Upgrade to Windows 10 removed administrator account named "Administrator"

    Hi Lonna,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    1) Currently are on Windows 7 or Windows 10?

    2) If you are on Windows 7, are you able to see the "Administrator" account in the PC?

If you are on Windows 10, try to follow the below steps and check.

I suggest you to perform Safe Mode with Networking and check if you’re able to login using your Microsoft account.

    Method 1: Safe mode.

    Please follow below steps:

      • Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
Shift key and click on Restart.

      • Click on Troubleshoot.

      • Click on Advanced options.

      • Click on Startup Settings.

      • Click on Restart.

      • Login to Microsoft Account and create a new administrator account.
If you’re not able to login using Microsoft account then refer to below steps and check if it helps.

    Method 2:
    Activate Inbuilt Administrator Account.

    Follow the below steps:

      • Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
Shift key and click on Restart.

      • Click on Troubleshoot.

      • Click on Advanced options.

      • Click on Command Prompt and enter following command.

        net user Administrator /active:yes
Now reboot your system and login to inbuilt admin account and try to reset password for other account. Once you reset password login to other account and to deactivate inbuilt admin account enter following command in elevated command prompt.

Can't Login To administrator account on Laptop

How to login to root account in LMDE ?

I don't know about debian edition, but in Gnome Edition I can just login as root with my administrator account password at the login screen - but keep in mind that Gnome Edition is based on Ubuntu and Debian Edition is based on Debian and the only common thing between Ubuntu and Debian is the barest necessities in the Linux kernel.
