Windows 10: can’t login to brand new laptop with school Microsoft account

I bought a new laptop, a Lenovo Yoga laptop, however when I try to log in with my school account with Microsoft it won’t allow me as it says my account doesn’t exist when I can sign into Microsoft on my old one. How can I fix this because I can’t use it now.?

Laptop requesting login for Microsoft Email - Brand New Install

I replaced the HDD on a laptop which a company gave to me. I formatted and installed a brand new copy of WIN 10 Pro and the first time I boot up, instead of asking me to make an account, I am prompted to enter my corporate email and password. I haven't set up windows at all. How can I circumvent this? I cannot login and create an new user account because I cannot get past this login screen. There should not be any login screen as I haven't finished setting up the OS yet. Newest version of WIN10 from Microsoft.

 

Unable to login to PC using Deleted School email account

I understand it can be frustrating when you are unable to access the PC using the university account.

1. Do you have any other user account configured on the PC?
   
2. Were you able to login using the new Microsoft account previously?
   
3. Did you purchase the Windows 10 license from Microsoft store?
   

As you have mentioned that the school email account have been deleted, in that case you may not be able to login to the PC using the same password.



Also, if you have purchased the license from Microsoft store then I suggest you to get in touch with the
Microsoft Accounts & Billing support team.

Windows 8 with 2 Microsoft accounts?

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

Here switch between local and microsoft account.
