Windows 10: Can't login to Lenovo S1 Yoga 12 running Windows 10

I was setting up my refurbishes Lenovo S1 Yoga 12 which came with Windows 10. I went through the setup half way till it wanted to do authentication with an app but I didn't finish the set up and just closed not turn off the laptop. Later when I opened the laptop it has displaying my profile photo from the GoDaddy Microsoft 365 email. So I put in password for that email account but it says incorrect password when I know for sure my password is correct. What is going on here? I can't login to my Lenovo laptop :

I’ve finally got to the BIOS screen up but there is no specific setting that could control the touchpad not being on .
As you suggested when using the mouse pressing F1….sadly no change.

When I look at the link in xsteveuk, the Lenovo video shows there are specific Windows 10 options for Lenovo which aren’t visible on my laptop after a fresh Windows installation.
Could the missing Lenovo specific options needed to get the touchpad working? How to I make Windows have the Lenovo specific setting?

Both descriptions for the two mice look exactly the same (for example, same driver numbers are the same ).
There are no warning that I can see.
I have checked and Windows says the drivers are the best available.

No difference using the BIOS, the Touchpad still not doing anything.

I’ve done the updates for the touchpad drivers but they are still exactly the same as post #13.

I tried rescanning all the mouse options, sadly no change.

I’ll have a look at the HID stuff more from the link, though I think you may be write that it’s a hardware issue.
