Windows 10: cant login to minecraft error code 0x80048820

my Microsoft account has recently been hacked but i got it back. i open the Minecraft launcher and it asks me to login. i click Microsoft account and login with the right account and i use the Microsoft app to login. it tells me the number and i click the number on my phone and then it says "Something went wrong, please try again later" and gives me the error code 0x80048820. i have tried using my password, and i have been trying to login for the past day or two. i am on windows 10, please help me.

one drive says not on line. Cannot sign in and when enter a code, get a 0x80048820 error.

I understand that you have an issue in regard to the error code you encountered when accessing OneDrive. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• Are you using Microsoft 365 Personal/Family or Business?
  
• What is the domain of the account used in OneDrive? Gmail.com, Hotmail.com or Outlook.com.
  
• Is the issue happened in OneDrive app or website?
  

I made further research about the error code you provided above. It seems like you are not the only user experienced the issue. I found a thread here in the community and the steps on it fixed the issue. I wanted you to check the response of Parash2 posted last November 7, 2013. Probably it could help to your case as well.

Error Code 0x80048820 EVERY time I try to login or use microsoft store

So every time I try and update games on microsoft store it gives me the error code 0x80048820, it also gives me this error whenever I try and edit my details in the windows settings. I've been trying to switch my computers default microsoft account after my old one was compromised. What am I supposed to do if I cannot use my old microsoft account or use my new one due to this bug?????

Hi,

Are you sure you're logging into the Windows Store with the account that you redeemed the code to?

• If you login to https://account.mojang.com/ please look under "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta" and check to make sure that the code is marked as claimed. You can make sure it is by checking the date that it was redeemed on.

• If the item is not listed, you should contact Mojang support and they will assist you on the issue.

• If it is listed, then that means you successfully redeemed the code to a Microsoft account. When you did so, you were asked to login to a Microsoft account. This was the account that you redeemed the code to.

• Please go over to https://account.microsoft.com/ and check under the "Recent purchaces" header and check if "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta" is listed. If it is not, you are using the wrong Microsoft account.

• If you're not sure which account you used, you should contact Xbox support (for Step 1, use "Xbox on Windows 10"; for Step 2 under Store select "Purchase verification"; and you should be able to call/chat with Xbox support) and let them know you are unsure
  which account you redeemed the code to.
