Windows 10: Can’t login to my old account

Hi it’s me Gurbaksh Singh Bansal who has recently moved to Canada from India and because of that I have lost a access of my recovery email which I have entered for the recovery of my account and now because of that I am not able to access my account although it doesn’t have any thing purchased but I don’t want to create another one manage it so that’s why I was thinking that If I can regain the access on my that account if u need the information for that account plz let me know as I have also tried to fill up the form but it wasn’t working it was like they need more info but I forgot my recove

Windows 10 Old Microsoft account issue.

Thank you for your reply, appreciate the time taken by you in keeping us updated on the status of the issue.

Since the issue is still facing, you may try the below steps and check.

Step 1: Change your old account type from Microsoft account to Local account and then delete this old account by logging into some administrator account.

To switch to a Local Account follow these steps:

• Login to your old account.
• Press “Windows key +X”.
• Go to Settings
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.
• Select “Switch to a local account” option.
• Enter the required details.

Step 2: Login to some other account which has administrator privilege and delete the old account.

• Click on Start and select
  Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now select Family & other users.
• Here you find your old account, just select and click on
  Remove.

Unable to remove old administrator account.

I understand that you want to delete one of the old administrator accounts from your computer. If you want to save the data from the old Administrator account, I would suggest you to copy the data from the old user account from
C: Users\<Old User Account> and move it to your backup drive or folder in a different location, before deleting the account.

I would also like to know what exactly happens when you try to remove the old Administrator account from your PC.

To delete an Administrator account from your PC, you will have to login to another user account with
Administrator access as User Accounts cannot be deleted through a Standard account.

Once you have logged into your new Administrator account, you can follow the steps mentioned below to remove the old Administrator account from your PC. To do this, by

1. Login to the new Admin User Account that you want to keep.
2. Tap on 'Windows + I' on the keyboard.
3. Click on 'Accounts'.
4. Now click on 'Family & other users'.
5. Select the old Administrator account from the list.
6. Click on 'Remove'.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
