    Past few months I can't login to my yahoo mail account from my pc using edge, chrome, firefox or windows10 Yahoo app? It timesout and does let me enter my password. Or it tells me I've failed to access my account too many times and I need to wait an hour even thoughIhavenot entered a password. My yahoo account can be accessed from my android phone or tablet without any issue. The problem is only with my pc accessing yahoo mail. What can I do?

    Sounds promising, I have a Gmail account. How do I verify the Yahoo account using it ?

    I have sent several Gmails to john @yahoo.com, but all I get are mail failure emails back saying the account is not available. I also did this with OE a few times with the same result.

    Why `o why can`t Yahoo be more explicit in their instructions. I am no dummy, but I give in on this one.

    Settled on Edge with Yahoo Mail


    After numerous trial runs I settled on MS Edge with Yahoo Mail. Choose Edge due to its simplicity and speed. Choose Yahoo Mail because of it flawless performance and ease of use. GMail and Oulook would not sync. Firefox is a very good browser yet I like simplicity and speed. I remain open minded. A big thank you to TenForums members. Btw, my systems specifications are coming soon.

    I welcome your comments, suggestions and barrage of cabbage and eggs. *Biggrin

    Edge yahoo mail problem

    I have a related, possibly the same problem. Edge has been using a rapidly growing amount of internal memory (rising quickly to 2GByte), resulting in the computer slowing to a crawl after only a few minutes.

    Using Edge, I opened a number of websites in different windows and monitored the memory usage. The issue only arose when Yahoo Mail was open. We are considering using the Microsoft Mail App and/or the Yahoo Mail App as alternates to Edge for mail, but
    this is an annoyance. Also considering dropping Edge and moving to Chrome of Firefox. This is ridiculous.
