In Windows 11, msconfig was used to set boot to Safemode. The Safemode login screen asks for a password and I only have a PIN. Is there a way to restore the boot configuration so that it will boot to normal mode, which will accept a PIN, in other words, cancel the changes made via msconfig?what I have tried so far:StartuprepairSystem Restorego back to previous buildCommand Prompt - bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot

Networking in Safemode

I tried uninstalling and re-installing the adapter and it didn't work. I tried another suggestion I found doing a search. They suggested to click on the Network Icon before booting in to Safemode and connecting to the adapter. The only thing listed was Airplane mode. I guess Windows 10 will not initialize a wireless adapter in Safemode.

Try these steps:

1. Start your Windows 10 machine, and quickly shut it down before it reaches or if it is at boot screen. Do this two times repeatedly.

2. On the third time, Windows 10 will automatically display 'Your PC couldn't start properly' message. Now press Esc key for recovery options.

3. Then under Choose an option screen, click Troubleshoot option and now click Advanced options option.

4. Under Advanced options screen, click Command Prompt.

5. Type following command and press Enter key:

bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot

6. Close Command Prompt and see if you can boot to normal mode now.
