Windows 10: Can't make .c files always open with a specific app.

I couldn't seem to find anything similar to this problem online. All my .c files open with notepad by default instead of the desired IDE. This problem only occurs with c files and only on this computer. I also can't seem to post a picture screenshot on here. I've tried right-clicking on the file -> Hover over "Open With" and clicked "choose another app" -> The only option that is there after choosing the IDE is "Just once"Thank you!

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?
