    Can't map to Ubuntu


    Got a "new" computer for my Ubuntu files. Set it up for dual boot, W10 / Ubuntu.

    Ran samba, selected a folder to be accessed from Windows, made it Shareable, and I get access denied when I try to map to it from Map network drive.

    Any ideas?

    windows 10 is not booting after dual boot with ubuntu

    ubuntu installer has changed something called the partition map, its the identification of each of the hard drive partitions. ubuntu installer took the boot identification away from the partition where windows installed, and put it in the new partition
    it made to install Ubuntu on. get into ubuntu and use a disk manager to change the partition map and make the partition where windows installed bootable as well

    Nokia USB Modem 7M-01 Wireless Network Device and Ubuntu-12.04 LTS

    Hi, I installed Ubuntu today. I have plugged the USB modem in my laptop and Ubuntu says that I have to double click on the install64... (I can't see it now in Win7) which is on the USB Modem folder. But Ubuntu Software Center can't it install it. I got an
    error message: Dependency ist not satifiable: ia32-libs



    What is the problem and can I use Ubuntu and the Nokia USB Modem?

    Can't map to Ubuntu

    From within Ubuntu, right click the folder you want to map to, click Local Network Share and click all 3 check boxes, I hadn't clicked Guest access is why I couldn't map to it, atleast when I did click it I could map to it.
