Windows 10: Can't move mouse even after setting palm tracking to minimum

    Can't move mouse even after setting palm tracking to minimum


    I haven't been able to move my mouse while typing.

    I've looked at all the tutorials and I went into the mouse settings and turned my palm tracking down to minimum exactly as the tutorials have said, yet it still doesn't work.

    I even went into the normal mouse settings of Windows 10 and set the mouse delay to off.

    What am I supposed to do from here?

    Lenovo Y 70 70 touchpad

    Hello, After upgrade to win 10 I can't use touchpad and keyboard simultaneously: if i set PALM to minimum i can move th coursor while pressing buttons, but i cannot click anything with my touchpad. This is extremely annoying, as i don't have a mouse right
    now. Any suggestions?

    Delay between keyboard input and mouse input

    I fixed it!

    Here's what I did, in case anyone with the same problem stumbles upon this post:

    Go to: Settings->Devices->Mouse and touchpad->Additional Mouse Options

    Go to the TouchPad tab

    Click on Additional tab

    Palm tracking - slide all the way to minimum

    then restart the machine.

    Don't know why this fixed it because I am not even using the touch pad, I am using a USB mouse and the touch pad is disabled.

    But anyway, my problem is solved after 6 months of frustration.
