Hi, I cannot open any of my pictures. Using Windows 11 - have tried everything I can think off reset/ repair/ diagnostic tools. The error message is "caller timed out due to licensing operation in process" or something very similar.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Can't open any picture due to licensing issue - Windows 11 :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

  3. Windows 10: Issues with opening .jpg due to ._.Ds_store. The pictures folder zipped in MacOS, later unzipped in Windows 10 and the picture is not opening.

    Hi,

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

This issue might occur if there picture which is copied from Apple computer has associated some protocols in it and it is facing issues while opening in Windows Operating system.

To assist you better, please provided us the information below:

    • When you say that "The whole pack of photos was zipped in MacO", have you tried to unzip the picture folder from Apple computer and then tried to open in Windows 10?

I suggest you to try to unzip the picture folder in the Mac Operating system, then try to copy it in external hard disk. After the try to copy the picture in Windows 10 and open it.

Please get back to us with an update on issue with opening pictures zipped in Mac Operating System and unzipped on Windows 10 to access it, we will be happy to help.

Can't open any picture due to licensing issue - Windows 11

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
