Windows 10: cant open display settings or personalization option

HI



Its new windows 10 home laptop this problem occuring only in administrator account working fine in other user accounts

i have done system restore and sfc scan too but no luck so far pls see attached picture

Unable use my DISPLAY SETTINGS OPTION AND PERSONALIZE OPTION...

2. What exactly happen when you try to use Display Settings and personalize options?
3. Do you get any error message while using Display settings and Personalize option?

I would suggest you if you want to use Display settings and personalize options Follow the below steps.

1. Go to Control Panel, then click Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, and then click on Display Settings.

2. Change display setting according to your choice.

Note: It is also applicable for windows 10 as well.

i cant open settings & display settings & Personalize option

after updating from windows 8.1 to windows 10 I have not been able to open settings & personalize , display option .Its saying that some associate files are missing and I even tried the option of sfc/scannow but it displayed that certain errors are found
but it cant fix . Now how to resolve this issue I even tried the option of signing with other accounts.Can anyone help me with this?

 

Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect settings.
• Corrupt or outdated display driver.

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

• Right-click on the Start Button and click on
  Device manager.
• Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
• Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
• In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
• In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.

Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

Step 2:

Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
