i cant get into facebook it doesnt send a code to my email

facebook locks up

Hi and welcome to TenForums,
Try getting rid of Microsoft compatibility view lists,
Open ie,
Use Alt+TB or Gear symbol on the top right and click on Comp-view Settings,
Uncheck use Microsoft lists,

After unchecking and saving/ Close.

use Alt+TD or Gear symbol/ Safety/ Delete browser history,
Uncheck the top box and check All others/ Delete.

Close ie and re-open and test the issue,

thank you for the info ,did as suggested ,but cant check it out till I use facebook for chat again .*Cool

There may be an account issue with Facebook on your phone or the associated Windows Live connection. Try the following solution:

Open a web browser and visit http://profile.live.com/services?view=manage.

Sign in to the Windows Live account that you use on your phone.

Under Facebook, click Edit.

On the Facebook settings page, click Remove Facebook, located at the bottom of the page, and then click Remove to confirm.

On your phone, go to Start, flick left to the App list, tap Settings

, and then tap Email+accounts.

Tap and hold Windows Live and then tap Sync.

Tap and hold Facebook, and then tap Delete.

Add Facebook to your phone again by tapping Add an account, and then tappingFacebook. Follow the sign-in steps to complete the process.

Yeah, that's all well and good to quote what is written on the support section to do...but what do you do when you do ALL these steps...and the rotten things STILL won't un-install / remove...??

We’re pleased to announce a new open source library for integrating Facebook into your Windows apps. The Windows SDK for Facebook is geared towards app developers creating Universal Windows apps on both desktop and phone. The SDK supports universal Windows app for Windows Phone 8.1, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Using this library, you can easily integrate Facebook Authorization, Like, Graph and other Facebook functionality into your app. This library is also fully native so the CLR is not a dependency. Where to Get the SDK
