  1. Can't open folders, which are pinned down to the taskbar (Explorer)

I have a problem opening folders that i pinned down in the taskbar.

When I click a folder nothing happens (with the exception of "this PC"/"Your PC", in which case it actually opens what it should open)
This problem is limited to Windows Explorer, pinned items for Chrome, Steam and Mozilla Thunderbird work just fine.

    :)

  2. Pin Folder to Taskbar

I'm not having any luck in pinning a folder to the taskbar. I have one folder pinned there but can't seem to duplicate it.

I select the folder in file explorer, right click and select "pin to start". Then, I should be able to go to start, right click the folder and select "pin to taskbar" but that isn't an option. I get unpin, resize and open as three choices.

I tried dragging the folder but that didn't work. The taskbar is unlocked if that matters. Was this removed as an option?

  3. Can't pin IE 11 to Taskbar after Windows 10 November update

When you've opened the Internet Explorer folder from the Program Files (x86) folder, the application on which you need to right-click is the one titled 'iexplore'. That should then open a window which includes the 'pin to taskbar' option.

  9. I followed the steps and found out that in my case the problem was caused by a software called Secure Folders. It works fine on Windows 8.1 but not so fine on Windows 10, at least its extension.

One extra step when launching shexview.exe , we must go to Options and select "Hide All Microsoft Extensions", and only then disable the extensions that are left, of course.
