Windows 10: Can't open my mailbox

I recently installed updates from HP & Windows 10, which wiped away all of my files. Since then I haven't been able to open my mailbox. Fortunately, I am getting my e-mails on my phone. I am a "dummy" when it comes to computers, so could someone tell me in the simplest terms, how to fix this?

Perform the following steps on your device, which includes built-in Email client:

• Select Menu
• Select Email
• Select Settings
• Select Mail for Exchange
• Select Options
• Select Remove mailbox
• Select Yes

Since the Email application is built-in on the device, there is nothing to uninstall. The only necessary steps is to remove the mailbox.

Email will not sync in Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

  Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
  
• 
  Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
  
• 
  Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
  
• 
  Click on your account.
  
• 
  Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.
