Windows 10: Cant open Outlook New on windows 10

Hi Microsoft support,Recently, I have one issue that repeat frequently with Outlook New. Something I can open it and some time not. When it not able to open, it look like being updated, and appear as below in start menu.Is it on updating process? if yes, please make a popup to announce the update and the progress. Even if you guys dont want the update popup disrupt user, please make sure the update do not took MORE THAN 3 HOURS or at least keep the app working when update.P/S: I already try to reset, uninstall can not do and repair, reset the computer, run sfc, ... do not work. And somet

How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

 

New Outlook for Windows

In 2024, Microsoft will push the New Outlook for Windows to all laptops and remove the "Mail and Calendar" app.

I just tried out the New Outlook for Windows, and I found it did not work for me.

When comes 2024, can I refused to have the New Outlook for Windows installed on my laptop and stop the removal of "Mail and Calendar"

If that is not possible, would someone please suggest another app that will work the same as "mail"

The main reason for not using the New Outlook for Windows is that it is not possible to have group mailing.

I tried to setup a group contact list. When I entered that list in the "to" field, New Outlook for Windows cannot send the mail. I have to enter all email addresses manually.

Another minor problem is that I have multiple email accounts, each account must have its own contact list when using New Outlook for Windows.

In the Mail app, you only need one contact list, all accounts can use that same list.
