Windows 10: can't open settings, can't reset, pending updates blocking ability to uninstall. can 't...

Ever since I got my laptop back from getting screen repaired, Windows has been acting up. it gets hung up trying to update then spends 2 hours uninstalling them because there was a problem. startup repair, or selecting uninstall feature/quality updates wont work because of pending updates. once windows comes up and i enter my pin, sometimes the screen goes blank and with luck, pressing alt+tab will switch out of whatever is hangiong up and the desktop comes up. i have all startup apps disabled. but the seem to load anyways in the background.. getting into task manager is a miracle. Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

AT&T Tilt - Problem setting ringtones

I just purchased a new AT&T tilt phone, and I downloaded a ringtone from the Microsoft community. I made sure to place this in the "My Ringtones" folder. However, this does not appear in the list of ringtones under Settings --> Phone.



Can anyone please suggest how to set a ringtone that I have downloaded?
