Windows 10: Can't open Windows 11 security app because it's missing?

Hello, I'm running Windows 11 pro, version 22H2 22621.1848 ARM build, running as a VM, and when I try to opening Windows Security, I receive the error "We can't open this 'windowsdefender' link. Your device needs a new app to open this link". When I search for Windows Security, I don't see it.I don't have any 3rd party antivirus software. I downloaded my build from Uupdump.net. as recommended by UTM.I've tried the following without any success:- I've run the command "Add-AppxPackage -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppXManif

1. Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
(Powershell open as administrator)
2. go to apps > look up "security" > press "repair"
(there is no "security", or "defender" app in the list

(gave a really big load of red ****)

4. Latest Windows update installed
5. Restarted

Your device is infected. Step 1 removes the infection and Step 2 fixes Defender.

Step 1:

• Download fixlist.txt
  
• Make sure FRST64.exe and FixList.txt are in the same folder.
  
• Launch FRST64.exe and click "Fix".
  
• Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.
  

Step 2:

Please complete the steps listed under the section "Step 2: Repair/Restore the Windows Defender Service" in this article. Note: you need to import the REG file using TrustedInstaller privileges, as described in the article.

Restart Windows.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
