  1. Can't ping the second network interface connected to a switch

I have configured a second NIC on my PC with a static IP address/default gateway They are correct as I tested them on another machine but I can't ping it's IP from the switch, even though they are directly connected. The first interface is connected to the internet successfully, is this a case of windows preferring to use the first interface and "implicitly" disabling the other one? How do I have both of them enabled?

    :)

  2. My ethernet connection keeps loosing internet access, but I can see it's still physically connected to my switch.

For now, I need your help to perform the following to further isolate your concern with your network connection:

    Step 1 - Ping www.microsoft.com server
then tell us the result through a screenshot.

    • Press Windows key + R to open the run window.
    • Type cmd, then press Enter.
    • Type ping www.microsoft.com
      and press Enter.
      • If you receive 4 replies, it means that your connection with the site is working properly.
      • If you got a request time out, it means that your connection has issues.
Step 2 - Reboot the Network Device.

    • Switch off your switch or router, wait for 10-20 seconds and plug it back in.
    • Wait for about 30 secs to reboot.
    • After rebooting your router, proceed to the next step below.
Step 3 - Scan your PC for viruses and malwares by using Windows Defender.

    • Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
    • Type Windows Defender, then click it.
    • In Home tab, click Full then click Scan now.
    • Wait for the process to finish. If there are any findings after the scan, send us the screenshot.

Get back to us if you can perform these steps.

Bind specific Apps to specific network interface

Hello, I have 2 network interfaces, one is a slow unmetered low-speed/high-ping and the other one is a high-speed/low-ping metered connection. I would like to know if it's possible to set some apps to use only the low speed network interface and other apps
(like online-games) to use only the high speed connection.

    Thanks

  4. Can't ping the second network interface connected to a switch

    Ping - General Failure

I have a laptop (.193) that connects to my home network through a wireless access point (.162). I can access the internet and I can ping out (google.com and 8.8.8.8). I cannot ping anything in my network, including the gateway. Everything, including the
laptop is static IP. I have a NAS (.143), that I was able to map to but I cannot ping to it. I installed a networked printer (.144) and the software found the device but I cannot ping it. I tried plugging the laptop in using an Ethernet cable (.194) but
still no luck. I tried disabling ipv6 using the CMD, still no luck. I don't know how long this has been going on because I can access the internet. I only found it because I tried connecting to the NAS and connecting a networked printer. I'm running McAfee
LiveSafe on all computers (including the laptop). I disabled the firewall utility and still could not ping.

I can ping all listed devices, including the gateway, from the computer I am on now (.190). This is my main computer and it is wired. I've looked at several forums and none of the steps seem to work.

    Address range: 172.21.3.100-172.21.3.200

    Router: Unifi USG

    Switch: Cisco SG250

Access Point: Unifi AP AC Pro

    Modem -> Router -> Switch -> AP -> Laptop
