Windows 10: Can't play Minecraft DLC

I purchased several minecraft DLCs for my son on his laptop, and they are all showing up as locked. We thought maybe he had to play all the levels to unlock them, but still can't play them. How do I fix this?

Minecraft Dungeons first DLC pack Jungle Awakens now available

It only took one loud alarm, seven snooze reminders, and a stressed editor yelling “TODAY’S THE DAY, GET UP UPDATE!” Jungle Awakens, Minecraft Dungeons’ first DLC pack, is finally up and will be rolling out today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One!

This update features everything you could wish for from an awakened jungle; from new missions and game mechanics, to never before seen mobs and items – as well as a… unique challenge.

Remember The Orb of Dominance? If you don’t, no biggie. It was just one of the most powerful and wicked artifacts the Overworld had ever seen, until some brave players managed to sell it to the Wandering Trader destroy it. Turns out that, even in broken form, the Orb of Dominance still has some of that dominance in it. One of its shards has found its way to a lush jungle, corrupting both the land and its inhabitants. Of course, it falls to you to get to the root of the problem, explore dense jungles, crumbling temples, and secluded bamboo forests, to save the day once more!

THERE’S MORE!

To celebrate the release of Jungle Awakens, we're also adding some extra content to the Minecraft Dungeons base game – free of charge. This content can be downloaded by updating the game and contains:

A free map: Lower Temple

A new threat level per difficulty: Unlocks higher-powered gear and additional challenges for the end-game content

New gear: Battlestaff and Dual Crossbows, plus two unique versions of each of them

Balance changes to various items

To get the new Jungle Awakens DLC, you can either buy it separately for your platform or upgrade your Standard Edition with a Hero Pass (and by doing so, securing yourself the first two DLC packs). Minecraft Dungeons Creeping Winter DLC is now available

You know what. I’m just going to say it. Summer isn’t that great. My hair gets frizzy, my skin gets burnt, and my all-black wardrobe makes me even sweatier than usual. That last one is classified as a medical marvel, by the way. So you can only imagine the joy that I felt when the Dungeons team told me that the new DLC out today is a veritable winter wonderland!

Look at all that ice. Frozen, glittery, and pranced upon by polar bears. What more do you need? Nothing, but there is more in store for you anyway! When the DLC drops on September 8th, we will also release our free Camp Update! We have removed all the horrifying aspects of camping, like mosquitos and bears, and replaced them with new villager merchants, a blacksmith that upgrades your items, and a gift wrapper for multiplayer trading!

The free update also includes Daily Trials! You get two new daily trials each day, plus an extra one for each DLC that you have. These trials are also much more fun than the silly legal ones that I am forced to attend. In this case, again not court related, the trials challenge you with higher power levels than normal gameplay. That means these trials are going to be tougher than you may be used to, but they are also weighted to higher rarity levels (a.k.a. better treasure)!

So how do you get your mittens on the new DLC? There are a few ways! You can upgrade your Standard Edition with a Hero Pass, which also includes unique cosmetics and the Jungle Awakens DLC. You can also buy the DLC separately on your digital platform of choice – or buy the all-new physical version of the Hero Edition in stores today. If you’re in Japan and want a physical PS4 version of the game, you will have to wait a month.

Minecraft Windows 10, Amazon Fire, Google Play DLC- is DLC shared between platforms/stores? Are Coins shared?

A few more questions!

When I buy an item from the store with Coins, while using the Amazon Fire Minecraft App, will that DLC be available to use on Windows 10 Edition?

When I buy an item from the store under my account, will that item be available to the family accounts that are connected to my Xboxlive account (I'm the parent) or does it need to be purchased for each of us (myself and 2 kids)?
