Windows 10: Cant play online video after Windows update 08/18

Hi. After Windows update I can't play any video. Doesn't mater if I use browsers, Netflix or YouTube. On YouTube screen is black on all other screen is green - can hear sound. By the way after update my laptop screen was black I had to use hdmi to troubleshoot but seams to be fixed now apart from green screen at any online video,


Any help please?

• Which is the media player you are trying to play the video?
• What is the format of the video file you are trying to play?

I suggest you to run the video in the Windows media player
and check.

If the issue still persist, you may check for any pending updates and install it, then check if you can play the video. To check for the update and install the updates, please follow the below steps:

• Go to Start menu, and type Windows updates and press Enter.
• Click on Check for updates, Windows will check for any pending updates and shows on the screen after this. Select install to install the updates.

• Run the the
  Video troubleshooter. This will automatically diagnose and fix issues with playing videos.
• Update the display drivers.

Videos and audios Won't Play

• Are you able to play videos and audios using Windows Media player or other application with in your system?
• Which browser are you using?
• Does this issue occurs using different browser?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

1. Press Windows key on your keyboard

2. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting..

3. Click on view all (on the left panel)

4. Select Playing Audio troubleshooter

5. Follow the prompted steps to troubleshoot this issue.

6. Follow the same steps to troubleshoot
Video playback.

Step 2: Also try to update drivers and check.
